We enjoyed a great dinner in the Silhouette Dining Room last night after the Naming Ceremony. Then we headed to the Equinox Theater (I know, not a very original name) for a sample of some of the shows they offer. Continue reading “Day two aboard Celebrity Equinox”

Southampton, England – We just boarded the new Celebrity Equinox and did what most cruisers do, headed straight for the food.
The Oceanview Cafe on deck 14 is one of the largest I’ve seen. The open area with many stations has just about anything you’re in the mood for: Oriental, Mexican, homestyle, sandwiches, and my favorites, create your own pizza and pasta. For dessert, there’s a wide selection including hand-dipped ice cream and more.
Next up today is the official Naming Ceremony. I’ll have more for you later.
We’re headed overseas and will be on-board as the Celebrity Equinox is officially named and launched in Southampton, England. You can follow along as we post photo, video and news updates on our Twitter account. You don’t have to be a member of Twitter to follow along, just keep checking our Twitter page at www.twitter.com/cruiseguide. We’ll be on-board Wednesday, July 29 and Thursday, July 30.
Let us know if you have any questions you’d like us to ask, or if there’s anything you’d like to know about or see on the ship. If you’re on Twitter, you can contact us @cruiseguide or send an e-mail to [email protected].
Numerous Disney Channel stars have joined thousands of Disney Cruise Line guests aboard the Disney Wonder for eight different sailings during the first-ever “Disney Channel Summer at Sea”. We sailed on July 12 and experienced the party with the stars, concerts, Q&A and more. On our cruise were Tiffany Thornton (Sonny with a Chance), Corbin Bleu, Jonnie and Brookie, Brandon Smith (Sonny with a Chance), Doug Brochu (Sonny with a Chance), and Roshon Fegan (Camp Rock).
We’ll have a full write-up on the cruise in a few weeks, but for now, here’s our videos and photos. Click on any photo to enlarge and on the blue words below the photos to see the full gallery. Continue reading “Video/Photos: Disney Channel Summer at Sea on the Disney Wonder”
