Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Adventure will have “seven lands and more” just like the welcome song sung at the Magic Kingdom. The Disney Adventure will sail from Singapore on three- and four-night cruises starting in 2025. Also like a theme park, Disney Adventure will include characters and themed areas inspired by classic Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories and films. The largest of any Disney Cruise Line vessel, the 208,000 gross-ton Disney Adventure will have a capacity of approximately 6,700 passengers with 2,500 crew members. For comparison, Disney Cruise Line’s 144,000 gross-ton Disney Wish launched in 2022 and carries approximately 3,500 passengers and 1,500 crew members.
Disney Cruise Line promises Disney Adventure will be “one-of-a-kind” and that’s true. Originally, the ship was named Global Dream and was set to be the largest in the world (by passenger volume) until its parent company, Dream Cruises went bankrupt due to the COVID pandemic. As Disney Cruise Line acquired the ship nearly completed, it’s the only ship in their fleet not originally designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. Global Dream was renamed Disney Adventure and Imagineers whistled while they worked on reimagining its spaces.
Seven lands with plenty of character aboard the Disney Adventure
Similar to the hub and spoke model used by Disney theme parks, the Disney Adventure will be a destination itself where guests can explore vibrant themed areas teeming with dozens of familiar characters and experiences, all without ever leaving the ship.
Disney Imagination Garden will be the heart of the Disney Adventure, an enchanted valley, charming garden, and open-air performance venue all in one. Inspired by 100 years of Disney stories, this imaginative gathering space will be guests’ gateway to their journey.
At Disney Discovery Reef, families will shop and dine in an ever-changing retreat evoking favorite aquatic characters and nautical stories from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios, including “The Little Mermaid,” “Lilo & Stitch,” “Finding Nemo” and “Luca.”
Inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Big Hero 6,” San Fransokyo Street will be a family entertainment area themed as a vibrant street market and boasting an assortment of interactive games and activities, shops, cinemas and more.
At Wayfinder Bay, guests will be called by “the line where the sky meets the sea” to an open-air oasis under the sun, where relaxation and exclusive entertainment await. This poolside retreat will reflect the Pacific Islands-inspired artistry of Disney Animation’s “Moana,” offering some of the most stunning views of the sea and sky aboard the Disney Adventure.
Town Square will be a celebration of Disney royals. This fantastical forest filled with shops, lounges, cafes, restaurants, and entertainment venues will exude the enchanting feeling of summer in full bloom with nods to “Tangled,” “Cinderella,” “Frozen,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “The Princess and the Frog,” and more.
At Marvel Landing, heroes will unite in a destination for fans of all ages. As a celebration of Marvel’s larger-than-life personalities, this area will offer Avengers-level adventure, with all-new attractions and experiences that showcase imaginative representations of guests’ favorite Super Heroes.
Toy Story Place will inspire guests to explore, create, connect and have fun in a whimsical, interactive play land with themed food venues and water play areas, where the world of Pixar’s “Toy Story” movies and shorts springs to life in surprising and inventive ways.

Disney Cruise Line will offer three- and four-night cruises from the port for a minimum of five years in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board. Specific details regarding itineraries will be announced at a later date.
