The 2009 Seatrade Cruise Shipping Miami conference has come to a close. We were able to attend on Tuesday and Wednesday. Here are a few pictures from the event.

The show was held in a large hall in the Miami Beach Convention Center. Meetings and press conferences were held in nearby smaller rooms.

Where to start? Most of the ports had booths on one side of the hall leaving the other side to manufacturers and service providers.

STX Europe had a busy booth with people checking out the large model of Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas. Click on the picture to see more detailed photos of the model.

Also at the STX Europe booth was this guy building a Lego model of a ship. He was following step-by-step directions from a computer.

This gentleman at the Taiwan booth would very quickly cut your profile into a piece of paper. It was very detailed and he only used scissors to do it.

This Highland Guard, left, and Citadel Hill Fortress Guard representing the port of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada could be seen snapping pictures with attendees while roaming the hall.

This was taken in one of the side rooms. Here NCL executives release more details on their upcoming ship, Norwegian Epic. Click on the picture for more details.
