Do the names “Sonny With a Chance”, “Camp Rock” and “The Suite Life on Deck” mean anything to you? If these names don’t ring a bell with you, chances are the youngsters in your life would love to cruise with the stars of these Disney Channel shows. What a story they could tell next fall when their teacher asks what they did during the summer.
Numerous Disney Channel stars will join thousands of Disney Cruise Line guests aboard the Disney Wonder for eight sailings during the first-ever “Disney Channel Summer at Sea”.
Some of the stars from many popular Disney Channel shows will sail with guests on three- and four-night Bahamian cruises taking place July 9 through Aug. 2. The television stars will mix and mingle with guests during onboard deck parties and autograph sessions. Cruise passengers will also be shown preview screenings of Disney Channel programming. The cruise ends with a special “Party with the Stars” event where guests can join the stars for a special live musical performance. As an added treat, Radio Disney will broadcast live from the ship during two of the cruises.
Certain lucky cruisers will get to be video-blog reporters and interview the stars. They’ll also capture their other magical vacation memories on video, which will then be posted on Disney’s Web site.
Among those scheduled to sail include:
– Tiffany Thornton from “Sonny With A Chance” (July 9 and 12)
– Nicole Anderson from “Jonas” (July 9 and 12)
– Jason Earles from “Hannah Montana” (July 16 and 19)
– Mitchel Musso from “Hannah Montana” (July 19)

– Chelsea Staub from “Camp Rock” (July 23 and 26)
– Oleysa Rulin from “High School Musical” (July 16 and 19)
– Musical act KSM (July 30 and Aug. 2).
Rates start at $679 per person, based on double occupancy for a category 12 inside stateroom, not including government taxes and fees.
Disney is also offering a $100 per day onboard spending credit with a verandah stateroom booking on certain dates. This offer is available on most Disney Cruise Line itineraries, not just the Disney Channel star sailings, including three-, four- and seven-night sailings to the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
Guests may use the credit to treat themselves and their family members to special indulgences, including spa treatments, shore excursions, shopping onboard the ship and at Castaway Cay, and purchasing their photos.
This offer is good for seven-night cruises from June 20 to Aug. 8, four-night cruises from June 28 to Aug. 9 and three-night cruises from June 25 to Aug. 6. The onboard credit is available for new bookings only in categories 3 to 7. Mention the code RAMA to get the deal.
