Margaritaville at Sea recently revealed the entertainment offerings onboard its new ship, Islander, embarking on its maiden voyage from Port Tampa Bay in June. While sailing on the Islander, guests will be treated to two scripted live production shows, along with two theme nights, poolside activities, and music unique to the ship.
“Conky Tonkin’ at Sea” is the first show where Bella, Lenny, and the gang host a boot-stomping, feather-shaking trip to Nashville with a mash-up of contemporary and classic country favorites that will have the crowd singing and dancing. The second show is “Caribbean Heat Remix,” a celebration of the world of Caribbean Heat through electrifying dance, acrobatics, and the hypnotic beats of Key West and Mexico.
The first of two theme nights include “Boots and Bubbles (Dress to Impress)” – an evening of coastal country with a dash of elegance. The night includes a captain’s margarita toast, high-energy entertainment including Conky Tonkin’ at Sea, themed dining and cocktail menus inspired by champagne and bourbon, line dancing classes, and other family-fun activities. The second theme is “Rock the Trop,” a yacht rock extravaganza that combines tropical vibes with rock ’n’ roll energy. During the day, this family-friendly event will feature Parrot Quest scavenger hunt, character meet-and-greets, and more. By night, the deck will come alive under the stars with a live DJ, late-night poolside bites, themed dining and cocktail menus, a nightclub variety act, and the headliner production of Caribbean Heat Remix.
Rounding out the entertainment lineup will be the Islander’s pool decks offering three distinctive settings. Passengers can feel the beat with an energetic party vibe at the LandShark Pool, soak up some fun at the laid-back 5 o’Clock Somewhere Pool with music and bites, or drift away in the ultra-relaxed, adults-only (18+) retreat at The Tiki Pool.
Margaritaville at Sea’s Islander will have 12 passenger decks accommodating up to 2,650 guests. Currently undergoing an extensive transformation, Islander will feature 1,105 fully redesigned staterooms with custom styling reminiscent of the sand, sea, and sky and all new furnishings including Margaritaville’s signature bedding, pillows, and linens. With more than 700 Breezy Balcony staterooms, Grand Terrace Suites, luxurious Corner Suites, and ultra-exclusive Islander Signature Suites, couples, families, and friends alike can chase the sunset from their spacious balconies with endless gulf breezes.
The ship will feature a soaring 14-story atrium with a unique nautical Margaritaville flip flop and a lively atrium bar with three multi-story floating margarita glass chandeliers. Family-friendly spaces include the three-story poolside LandShark Bar at Sea, Margaritaville-inspired cornhole, mini-golf course, and the Caribbean Amphibian Play Pad and Slide. Dining options consist of signature favorites like JWB Prime Steakhouse and Mexican Cutie Cantina as well as Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria, Margaritaville Coffee Shop, and Cheeseburger in Paradise.
Margaritaville at Sea Islander’s Inaugural sailing will be June 14 on a 4-night itinerary from Port Tampa Bay, featuring a stop in Cozumel, Mexico and two fun-filled sea days.
