Princess Cruises’ Sanctuary Collection is a luxury ship within a ship concept onboard Sun Princess (sailing since early 2024) and Star Princess (coming in 2025). The all-inclusive Sanctuary Collection oasis offers guests exclusive access to each ship’s top deck retreat spaces, along with a host of additional amenities to enhance the cruise. These high-end extras include private dining and relaxation areas, a luxurious stateroom experience, and the Princess Premier bundle to round out the all-inclusive Sanctuary Collection experience.

Aboard Sun Princess, christened by Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham in Barcelona on April 23, 2024, the top-deck Sanctuary Club is reserved exclusively for Sanctuary Collection passengers. This adults-only area is accessed via a Princess Medallion and includes a pool, jacuzzi, plush lounge furniture, private cabanas, light food, and beverages in a spa-like atmosphere. The Sanctuary Club also features exclusive programming such as sunrise yoga classes and sail-away receptions. Other exclusive amenities include priority specialty restaurant reservations and premium stateroom amenities.

Sun Princess’ Sanctuary Collection includes three different levels of stateroom accommodations – Signature Collection Suites (80), Mini-Suites (123), and Premium Deluxe Balconies (12).

“Our new Sanctuary Collection offers guests those ultra-private, tucked away spaces that rival any high-end resort,” said John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises. “With spacious and well-appointed accommodations, along with an array of premium extras and its exclusivity, our new Sanctuary Collection delivers an unparalleled experience.”

The 4,300-guest Sun Princess is currently sailing its inaugural season voyages, offering an array of exciting new culinary and entertainment offerings – including the Magic Castle speakeasy. Star Princess is currently scheduled to complete construction in Fall 2025.

Star Princess is the sister ship to Sun Princess, and the pair are billed as the next level Love Boat. The “Sphere Class” ships feature eye-catching architectural spectacles like The Dome, the cruise industry’s first geodesic feature on the top deck, and The Sphere, the suspended glass Sphere Piazza at the center of the cruise ship.
